With this Sea Doo Pro scooter you can go down to a maximum depth of 65 feet, which is a large improvement in performance over the 30 feet by the Sea Doo Aqua Ranger unit. This water scooter is extremely light weight. Weighing in at just 13 pounds including the battery, this sleek compact designed scooter can easily be operated using just one hand and can run at a speeds of 2 mph. It has built-in buoyancy regulation for maximum comfort and ease of operation. Also comes with quick release latches for easy removal of the battery for recharging. With a run time of up to 1 hour with normal use, it should provide the user with plenty of underwater time.
DEPTH / ENDURANCE:
With a battery run time of just 1 hour this sea scooter would definitely not impress the veteran divers who need a little more functionality and performance. Adding into that the limited 65 foot depth rating this scooter is lacking in performance.
POWER:
The battery with the Sea Doo PRO is very limited, there have been reports of some people using a larger battery and giving it an upgrade in performance. But the scope of that conversion is beyond this review here.

To briefly sum everything up, the Sea Doo PRO sea scooter is a great introductory scooter, but, it does seem to have some minor faults that make it less than desirable. It is built by Sea Doo which makes some of the best water equipment in the world. I would have to say for most people they would be wise to spend a little more money on a higher quality and better performing sea scooter.
