This new sea scooter is a entry level underwater scooter that is best suited for swimming, snorkeling and even shallow scuba diving. PERFORMANCE:
The Sea Doo AQUARANGER allows you to explore the underwater world with greater freedom, it moves you at a speed of up to 2.5 mph and dives down to 30′. The buoyancy is adjustable, so you can customize how it floats based on your depth and personal preference. This small light weight scooter is perfect for young people, it’s packing big performance in a small, lightweight, 11.5 lb unit. DEPTH / ENDURANCE:
The Aqua Ranger runs for up to 1.5 hours per charge on the included rechargeable battery. This allows for a depth rating of up to 30 feet which is perfect for snorkeling or shallow dives. It has plenty of power to run for the full 1.5 hours. That means it will get you to where you need to be and then you can float around or shut the scooter down and do your snorkeling.
POWER:
The battery is sufficient for this size sea scooter, I would highly suggest purchasing an additional battery as well to have as a back up when at the pool or beach. Adding an additional battery can give you up to 3 hours of run time which is plenty for what you may need in your snorkeling adventures. The Sea Doo Seascooter AQUARANGER also includes a rechargeable battery. The biggest suggestion I can make on the battery and charging unit is to completely read the manual and understand the charging operation. It has a little more power than the Dolphin so it uses it up a bit faster, but nothing to be concerned with. Also, be sure to apply the supplied silicone grease to the o-ring and carefully put the o-ring in the groove in the case. Make certain that the o-ring is in place as the front cover is locked down. Do not use Vaseline for the lubricant on the O-rings.
